I teach yoga at the Cameron Park Community Center and two Eskaton facilities in Cameron Park.

Registration and payment is only taken care of through the Cameron Park Community Center.

Yoga 101 Session A -Check Calendar for dates and times

Brand new to Yoga? This class is the perfect introduction. We work through the body's weak points, retraining muscles to build strength & flexibility, teaching balance, and learning calming techniques. Helping you to just feel good! All this and more flows from a yoga practice. Enjoy a well earned guided relaxation at the end of class. Please bring your mat, a small firm blanket or beach size towel. There are a few blankets and mats to loan during class. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in.
Avoid a full meal two hours before class. This class may be repeated as many times as you like until you feel ready for Session B

Yoga 101 Session B -Check Calendar for dates and times

This class is best for students who have practiced yoga - even if it has been awhile - on your own or in a class - or who have attended the Introduction to Yoga 101: Session A, and are ready for more. Depending on the interests of the students attending - stronger postures and the deeper aspects of a yoga practice are taught. Guidance in establishing your own practice is offered. Enjoy a well earned guided relaxation at the end of class.



Gentle Yoga - Check Calendar for dates and times  

This class is for students who are new to yoga or who may have some flexibility or strength limitations due to inactivity, strength or balance. Chairs are used in sun salutation (bringing the floor closer to you!) though as you progress, modifications are given using yoga blocks. Some floor work is done so students should be able to get to the floor using a chair.


Yoga for Stress Relief - All levels welcome

Could your biggest challenge be slowing down? Change into your comfy clothes and enjoy a tension releasing Hatha Yoga class. Learn techniques that will coax the tension out of your muscles. Learn to use your breath simple meditation techniques to sooth your body and calm your mind. A bonus is gaining flexibility and strength. Enjoy a guided relaxation at the end of class. Suitable for all levels.



Yoga for Arthritis

A yoga program designed for management of arthritis. Arthritis restricts movement and can develop at any age; yoga increases range of motion: these two were made for each other. Drugs, surgeries, and steroids can alleviate some of the discomforts, but studies have shown that exercise is most beneficial to most forms of arthritis, specifically low-impact, flexibility-enhancing exercises—hence, yoga. Learn Classical yoga poses and physiologically sound adapted poses, with step-by-step instructions. Learn the philosophy and principles of yoga to find lasting relief from arthritis.


Yoga for the Low Back

Join this supportive, nurturing yoga class. Gain lifelong tools to help keep your back strong and restore overall well-being, regardless of body type or previous yoga experience. Enjoy a gentle, yet effective yoga practice to soothe the low back.  Each class builds on the previous one…. Explicit explanations take the guesswork out of finding the appropriate body positions and provide a safe way to learn to relax, stretch, and strengthen the lower back.



Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga!

Prenatal/ Postnatal Yoga - all levels welcome! Modifications are given for each trimester. Prepare with strength and serenity for the birth of your baby. Yoga during pregnancy helps to reduce low back pain & sciatica. Reduces swelling & inflammation around your joints. Helps prepare you physically for giving birth. Improves emotional well-being. Yoga Helps During Labor to Soothe & empower yourself by finding your own inner rhythm. Facilitate the labor process. Use the muscles of your pelvic floor effectively. Learn to use the tools of meditation & visual imagery Improve your physical comfort.  Once baby arrives, participate in the same yoga class to regain energy and embrace new motherhood with grace. Meet other mothers, become part of a community. Enjoy a guided relaxation at the end of each class.

FRIDAY Mornings 9:30 am-10:30 am at Eskaton Center

FRIDAY Mornings 11:00 am- 12:00 pm at Ponté Palmero

Join Us...in a community outreach program presented by the folks at Eskaton. There is no charge to the public to attend. You will learn to apply gentle repetitive movements and the breath to explore your range of motion, expand the lungs, calm the heart and clear the mind.
